This course provides the adult life support training with the addition of specific care for a baby or child requiring resuscitation. In addition we also cover the management of choking.
During a session you can expect to be taught:How to assess a collapsed casualty of all agesHow to manage unconsciousnessHow to perform basic life support on an adult, child or babyThe appropriate treatment for an obstructed airway (choking) in a child or baby who is conscious or unconscious.

The full comprehensive package which uses the adult life support protocols as a foundation before addressing the treatment for babies and children, takes 3.5 hours. Following successful completion of this course the participant will receive a certificate which is valid for one year. If a potential client wishes to cover only the specific principles of baby and child resuscitation (i.e. without adult life support) this may be facilitated and we would encourage you to contact the office to inform us of your specific requirements.

No more than 5 people will be taught by each trainer.
