At Bart’s City Life Saver we work to reduce the high rate of avoidable deaths by teaching people to perform life saving skills confidently and effectively by using scenario-based training.
We specialise in providing Basic Life Support and Safe Use of Defibrillator (AED) training to individuals, City professionals, businesses and practises - either at clients’ premises or at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, near St Paul’s - click to view map. Our courses lead to certification, which is required for many occupations such as health and fitness and childcare. It can also contribute and contributes to CPD for medical professionals.
Our training is delivered by qualified or trainee health professionals in courses developed and monitored by senior medical consultants in emergency medicine. Our maximum trainer-to-participant ratio is 1:5. This ensures that participants receive a high level of support and encouragement when practising techniques.
